Who we are
Maple Co is a home and office cleaning company serving the Greater Toronto Area. This policy covers this website, our quote and booking process, and our advertising forms. If you have a question about it, email contact@maplecocleaning.ca.
What we collect
- Quote and booking details: your name, email or phone number, postal code and service address, the size of your space, your preferred date, and anything you tell us about the job, such as pets or how to get in.
- Job applications: your name, contact details, the area you live in, your cleaning experience, how you get to jobs, when you can start, your availability and what you tell us about yourself.
- Photos of completed work: our cleaners photograph finished rooms after each clean to check quality.
- Billing records: invoices and a record of payments received.
Why we collect it
- To prepare your quote and reply to you.
- To schedule, carry out and check your clean.
- To send invoices and keep the business records the law requires.
- To review job applications.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to the reasons above.
Who we share it with
- Our cleaners get the details they need to do your job, such as your address, access instructions and focus areas.
- Service providers that run this website, our forms, our email and our invoicing handle information on our behalf. Some of them store information outside Canada.
- Advertising platforms. If you fill in one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects your answers and passes them to us under its own privacy policy.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Photos of your space
Photos taken after a clean are used to check our work. We don't post photos of your home or office publicly unless you give us permission first.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it for the reasons above, and for as long as tax and business laws require us to keep records. Quote requests that don't lead to a booking, and applications that don't lead to a hire, are deleted when we no longer need them.
How we protect it
Access to client information is limited to the people who need it to do their work. Keys, door codes and access instructions are shared only with the cleaner assigned to your job.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@maplecocleaning.ca and we'll reply as soon as we can.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
